| Hello, I like to know do you enforce the rule about wearing the gear well your at the skating area at all times for their safety as wells as others around them see I have a problem that skate parks allow skaters to skate at your own risk and they don't enforce the skaters to wear their gear!!!!
I know skating is can be dangerous but if the pro's wear gear the skaters need to wear the gear.. Do you have people on staff with first aide CPR please contact be ASAP K Stubblefield |
Hello K Stubblefield,
I run the website, I don't run any skatepark.
As far as I know all city skateparks are pads optional and the private skate parks are helmet mandatory.
A lot of skaters ride within their own skills so they don't need pads all the time. Falls do and will happen. Skaters will learn if they need pads or not.
Personally, I wear a helmet, elbow, knee pads and gloves at the private parks. I wear pads but no helmet, if I'm riding a public park. Street skating, I'm not going to wear any pads. After riding for 20+ years these ol bones don't want to take much abuse.
Dunno about the CPR thing. Yes, it'd be a good idea for everyone to have CPR training
