Neil Blender, Steve Caballero and Steve Steadham shreadding Lincoln in the mid 1980s

I snagged these photos from the Thrasher Magazine website, 'From the Crypt'. Neil Blender, Steve Caballero and Steve Steadham skating Rich Flowerday's vert ramp in Lincoln in 1983 or 84. Someone send me more info about the 'Midwest Melee' ramp series of contests.

Firehose and Minutemen, growing up next to Rich Flowerday's backyard ramp. I remember several Midwest Melee contests in the mid-'80s. Christian Hosoi slammed and separated his shoulder and my dad drove the van to Saint Elizabeth's Hospital. Gator tried to do my sister. Lance Mountain had an allergy attack due to the neighbor mowing the lawn. All the Skate Rock coming from the boom box back then had to have an influence on me.

I am not sure what info you are looking for but there was a Thrasher about it in 83 or so... There's a fair chance that the photos are by my brother.

I guess I have to add, I can't remember much myself, since I was 3-4 at the time.
